Who are the Death Troopers?

The Death Troopers of the Republic of Baüme stand as an absolute, unmatched force of nature on the airsoft field, widely recognized as the indisputable best of the best across both the State of Montana and the entire Republic of Baüme.

They don't just win; they completely dominate the grid. The troopers currently hold a legendary 9-game undefeated streak, maintaining peak tactical precision through grueling MilSim matches that last a punishing 2 full hours of continuous combat. Their flawless communication, relentless stamina, and elite squad tactics prove that nobody else in the region even comes close to their level of tactical supremacy.

How do I become one?

Becoming a Death Trooper is not something you apply for—it is an elite honor earned only by the absolute best. You cannot simply join their ranks; you must be hand-picked by the NWPB.

The NWPB scout network constantly monitors the regional airsoft circuit, looking for players who exhibit flawless tactical discipline, leadership, and raw combat skill. To even catch the eye of the selection committee, candidates must possess a staggering 100+ hours of live airsoft play time. This strict threshold ensures that every single Death Trooper is a hardened veteran who has survived countless engagements, mastered their gear, and proven their absolute dedication to tactical excellence.

What is the difference between a Death Trooper and a standard unit?

To understand the Death Troopers of the Republic of Baüme, one must understand the stark contrast between standard military conformity and elite tactical freedom. While the regular army groups of the Republic rely on rigid discipline and uniform structures, the Death Troopers are an entirely different breed of warrior. They are not built for the parade grounds; they are built exclusively for victory.

  • Standard Baüme units are the reliable, disciplined backbone of the Republic, tasked with holding territory, maintaining front lines, and executing traditional military maneuvers. The Death Troopers, however, operate in the shadows of Special Operations.
  • When the prestigious 1st Army Group deploys to a conflict zone, the standard units wait for the lines to form, but the Death Troopers are already gone. They are the absolute first into combat, acting as the unstoppable tip of the spear. They breach the most dangerous hot zones, dismantle enemy defenses before the main force arrives, and shock the opposition with overwhelming, immediate aggression.
  • Go to any standard Baüme barracks, and you will see immaculate, strict military dress uniforms, every patch, belt, and camouflage pattern perfectly regulated. The Death Troopers actively reject this conformity. They have no strict dress uniform policy, prioritizing peak field utility and psychological warfare over military etiquette.
  • Instead of standard-issue camo, the vast majority of Death Troopers voluntarily hunt in all-black tactical loadouts. When a wave of non-uniform, pitch-black silhouettes breaches an objective, the enemy instantly knows they aren't fighting the regular army, they are fighting the elite.
  • The average Baüme soldier carries the standard-issue service rifle mandated by high command, ensuring uniform ammunition and parts. The Death Troopers view weaponry as a deeply personal extension of the operator.
  • They have no standard gun. A Death Trooper carries whatever weapon they have, whatever weapon they want, and whatever weapon gets the job done. From highly customized high-ROF compact PDWs for tight CQB environments to heavily modified DMRs for long-range woodland suppression, their arsenal is completely unpredictable. This weapon autonomy means an opposing squad can never predict the fire rate, range, or tactical capability of a Death Trooper fireteam until the BBs are already flying.

Meet the Director of the Deathtroopers:

Director Jackson W. Hecht

Jackson William Hecht was born on December 28, 2008, in Provo, Utah, where he was raised in a family devoted to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. From an early age, he developed a strong sense of discipline, faith, and leadership qualities that would later define his rapid rise. In early May 2025, Hecht entered service in the Republic alongside his sisters, Addy and Isabelle. What began as a shared step into duty quickly set him on a path apart. Demonstrating exceptional leadership and tactical ability, Hecht advanced swiftly through the ranks of the 1st Army Group. By July 2025, he had earned command of a company within the 2nd Infantry Division, leading the unit known as “Hell Patrol.” His ascent did not slow. In August 2025, recognizing his performance and decisiveness under pressure, Republic leadership promoted him to Commanding Officer of the entire 2nd Infantry Division. Less than a week later, Hecht received authorization from the NWPB to establish an elite unit: the Special Forces of the Republic of Baüme. Retaining the feared nickname “Hell Patrol,” the unit became more widely known as the “Deathtroopers,” earning a reputation for precision and relentless efficiency. By January 2026, Hecht’s contributions had solidified his standing within the Republic. He was elevated to the prestigious rank of Director, granting him access to McLain’s inner circle (the Second Cabinet) where strategic decisions at the highest level were made. In doing so, Hecht surpassed even his sisters in rank, carving out a legacy defined by ambition, capability, and unyielding drive.
