1. Safety & Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

  • Eye Protection: Full-seal, ANSI Z87.1 rated eye protection is strictly required at all times on the field. Mesh goggles are prohibited unless worn with proper safety glasses underneath.

  • Face Protection: Full-face masks or lower mesh covers (protecting mouth, nose, and ears) are mandatory for players under 18 and strongly advised for all adults.

  • Footwear: Sturdy, closed-toe footwear or boots are required. Sandals, open-toed shoes, and crocs are prohibited.

  • Eye-Pro Policy: Never lift or remove eye protection while on the active field. If your eye-pro fogs or slips, yell "CEASEFIRE" or "BLIND MAN" and wait for a referee to assist you.

2. Safe Zone & Staging Area Procedures

  • Magazines Out: Magazines must be removed from all airsoft replicas before entering the safe zone.

  • Clear Chambers: Discharge any remaining BBs into a designated test-fire area before stepping into the staging zone.

  • Safety Switch: Replicas must remain on SAFE at all times in non-play areas.

  • Barrel Covers: Approved barrel socks/bags must be secured over muzzles at all times in the safe zone. Caps, socks, or tape are not acceptable substitutes.

  • No Firing: Dry-firing or testing equipment in the safe zone or parking lot is prohibited.

3. Combat Rules & Gameplay Ethics

  • Honor System: Airsoft relies entirely on honesty. When hit on any part of your body, gear, or gun, yell "HIT!", raise your hand or dead rag, and return to the respawn area.

  • Friendly Fire & Ricochets: Friendly fire counts as a hit. Gun hits count as hits unless specific game scenario rules say otherwise. Direct hits only; ricochets off cover do not count.

  • No Blind Firing: Players must have line-of-sight down their barrel when firing. Shooting blindly around corners or over barriers is banned.

  • Minimum Engagement Distance (MED):

    • Pistols / CQB (Under 350 FPS): 0-foot MED (Semi-automatic only inside structures).

    • Standard Rifles / AEGs (350–400 FPS): 15–20 foot MED.

    • DMRs / Snipers (400–500 FPS): 75–100 foot MED (Single-shot / Bolt-action only).

  • Surrender Rule: If approaching an unaware player within MED, offer a "Surrender" or call "Bang-Bang" to prevent close-range hits.

  • No Overshooting: Immediately stop firing once a player calls their hit or displays a dead rag.

4. Media, Drones & Equipment Protection

  • Strict Drone Protection: Drones operating overhead are non-combat field property. Intentionally shooting at, aiming at, or tracking a drone with a replica is strictly prohibited. Offenders will be immediately ejected and banned.

  • Filming Equipment & Photographers:

    • Field media personnel, camera operators, and stationary equipment (tripods, trail cams, recording rigs) are non-targets.

    • Intentional target practice on media staff or stationary equipment is strictly forbidden.

    • Media personnel wearing high-visibility gear are non-combatants—do not shoot at them or use them as cover.

  • Player Action Cams: Personal cameras attached to helmets or replicas are worn at the owner's risk. Players should avoid targeting small lenses intentionally, but accidental gear hits during regular play may occur.

5. Chronograph & Power Standard

  • Chronograph Testing: Every replica must pass chronograph inspection with field-provided BBs prior to participating.

  • Joule & FPS Limits:

    • Rifles / AEGs: Max 1.5 Joules (~400 FPS w/ 0.20g BBs).

    • HPA Systems: Must be tournament-locked following chronograph inspection.

    • Sniper Rifles: Max 2.3 Joules (~500 FPS w/ 0.20g BBs).

  • Tampering: Altering regulators, gas settings, or internal components after chronograph testing will result in an immediate facility ban.

6. Conduct & Sportsmanship

  • Marshal Decisions: Referees have final authority on all rulings. Arguing with marshals will lead to ejection.

  • Dispute Resolution: Do not argue hit calls on the field. Report suspected cheating directly to a marshal with a description of the player.

  • Prohibited Items: Real weapons, live ammunition, pyrotechnics, blades, alcohol, and illegal substances are strictly banned from the venue.
