Overview:
Jameson DR. Guccione ruled the Republic of Baüme from February 4, 2025, until his resignation on July 24, 2026. He was known for forming and leading the Guccist Party, which split into the Nationalist Guccist Workers Party (renamed the Nationalist Workers Party of Baüme following McLain) and the Guccist Social Workers Party whom was banned on September 11, 2026, by Aiden McLain. The end of Guccism came with great consequences and great victories.
End of the Guccist Party:
The Republic of Baüme experienced a major political realignment on June 4, 2026, when the governing Guccist Party, originally founded on a Democratic Socialist platform, fractured into three distinct factions following reform efforts by Jameson Guccione. The largest successor group became the Nationalist Guccist Workers Party, which adopted a Neo-Falangist ideology. Following Aiden McLain’s ascent to the presidency as First Chair President and Party Chairman, this faction was rebranded in July 2026 as the Nationalist Workers Party of Baüme, securing its place as the dominant political force in the nation.
The remaining two factions resulting from the split faced swift declines under the new administration. The Guccist Social Workers Party, which aligned with Socialist-Marxist principles, operated briefly until September 11, 2026, when it was officially outlawed by executive order under President McLain. Meanwhile, the lesser-known third faction, the Free Guccist Party, attempted to maintain a democratic platform but quickly collapsed in July 2026 as McLain consolidated political power across Baüme.
